Dr. Joju John sir, Associate Professor of MTTC, seems to be an exceptional figure motivating and enlightening us with his words and deeds. Today he shared a beautiful story which taught us the value of being patient especially when it comes to be a teacher.
The story was that of a father and a son. The father was immersed in his work and the little child was playing all around him. Both were busy in their world doing their own things. Soon, the child started being restless, making noises and spilling ink everywhere. This was an irritating experience for his father as he could not concentrate on his work.
He said," เด
เดเด് เดฎാเดงเดตാ.... ". But the child was immersed in his own world that he never heeded a word of his father. The father couldn't tolerate the actions of his son and soon got angry and retorted,"เด
เดเด് เดฎാเดงเดตാ....." giving a lot more emphasis. The child just tilted his head and overlooked his father but the warning was of no use as the child continued to create chaos altogether. The father regained his control after repeating " เด
เดเด് เดฎാเดงเดตാ....." for a long time.
Later Joju sir revealed that เดฎാเดงเดตാ was actually the name of the father. The father was not trying to control his son but himself. This thought quite interesting as we realized that we need to control our anger and act according to the situation.
Thank you Joju sir for incorporating the valuable lesson in us.
