COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - DAY 2

The day began at 6:00 am with a serene yoga session aimed at harmonizing our body and mind, providing us with the necessary energy and focus for the day ahead. Following this, all participants gathered for the morning assembly at 7:00 am, setting intentions and receiving important updates for the day.

After the assembly, a wholesome breakfast was served at the college campus, fueling us for the activities to come. From 8:00 am to 9:00 am, the morning continued with a practice session for the upcoming Mukthi program, where participants rehearsed performances and ensured seamless coordination.

Later, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, a captivating session on fire and safety, named KARUTHAL, was conducted by the Government of Kerala's Fire and Safety Team. Through practical demonstrations and insightful anecdotes, participants learned about fire prevention measures, the proper use of fire extinguishers, and life-saving techniques.

After a well-deserved lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, participants engaged in further preparation for the Mukthi program, practicing both theoretical aspects and practical skills. The highlight of the day was the Mukthi program itself, which commenced at 2:30 pm and featured a compelling flash mob and skit against drug abuse, delivering a powerful message through artistic expression.

Following this impactful session, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, a session on drug abuse awareness was conducted by Mr. Biju Simon, a renowned life skill trainer. Through various activities, participants gained insights into the harmful effects of drugs and pledged to resist their influence.

The evening was filled with sports and games, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, fostering team spirit and providing a refreshing break. Participants enjoyed various activities, including playing seven tiles, amidst laughter and camaraderie.

As the day concluded, a delicious dinner was served at 7:30 pm, followed by a reflective session where participants shared their thoughts and experiences. Finally, participants returned to their residences by 9:00 pm, ready to rest and rejuvenate for the adventures of the next day.
