DECEMBER 5 - OBSERVATION 3 and INNOVATIVE WORK

On December 5, 2023, I had my third turn of observation. Meekha ma'm had already informed us that she would be strictly checking our records, reflective journals, observation books, and most importantly, ensuring we had rectified and improved our classes from the earlier observation. I was well-prepared and decided to introduce my innovative work, which I had worked hard on, to my students.

I planned a lesson for "Rosa Parks Sat Still," and since it was the last class for this chapter, I utilized my innovative work—a spinning story wheel—to summarize the entire chapter, highlighting the significant events in Rosa Parks' life. Additionally, I created a scrapbook that depicted the whole story pictorially for better understanding and retention.

The students' responses were overwhelmingly positive; they thoroughly enjoyed the spinning story wheel and the scrapbook. I was thrilled with their engagement.  Meekha ma'm also appreciated my efforts and the class overall. I believe the class was a success.
