On June 18, 2023, Mar Theophilus Training College, in association with Alagappa University, launched "TECOMPETENCY: 40 Hours Add-On Course on ICT." This program aims to enhance teachers' technological skills, crucial in modern education.
Dr. Johnson N. from Alagappa University delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the importance of technology integration in teaching. The first session, led by Mrs. Akanksha Prajapati, a research scholar and technical expert, focused on creating e-certificates. Mrs. Prajapati successfully demonstrated the process, a valuable skill in today's digital age.
This course equips teachers with essential ICT skills, vital for effective digital learning environments. Participants who complete all 40 sessions will receive an e-certificate, ensuring they are well-versed in utilizing technology for educational purposes. This initiative fosters continuous learning and adaptation to new educational technologies.
