"Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often."
Holding in our mind, this years' blood donation theme, MTTC family brought forth a novel change in celebrating environment day. The Natural Science department of the college in association with KIMS hospital organized a blood donation camp this day. the programme was officially inaugurated by Dr. Sanooja and her team from KIMS along with our beloved Principal.
" രക്തദാനം മഹാദാനം" this mantra was ringing all throughout the day as it was emphasized in every speech delivered on the stage.

After the official inauguration, we had a balloon raising occasion where red and white balloons of hope were dropped onto the sky by the whole team. It was a very welcoming and pleasant moment for all of us.
Some of us volunteered for the blood donation this year. a set of about 120 questions were asked to the students who were willing to donate their blood. The doctors took this job very seriously as the donors who fitted the description were only selected for blood donation. A certificate was also provided at last by the hospital to the donors.

As the blood donations were progressing on one side, a class for creating awareness and eradicating myths regarding blood donation was taken by Dr. Sanooja ma'm. She gave us an entire picture of the significance of blood donation, including the pre and post donation criteria.
