"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it."
– Robert Swan
Population Day is celebrated each year on July 11. It holds significant importance as it raises awareness about the issues of population growth and its impact on resources and the environment. This year, we, the B.Ed. trainees from Mar Theophilus Training College, organized a special assembly to mark the occasion.
The event featured a variety of programs coordinated by the students, including a quiz by the younger kids, a skit that highlighted the causes and consequences of overpopulation, and a speech on the significance of such programs. The assembly concluded with a speech from the principal, emphasizing the importance of awareness and education on population issues.
