REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION @MTTC

"गणतंत्र दिवस हमें हमारे संविधान और लोकतंत्र की महानता की याद दिलाता है। जय हिंद!"

Celebrating Republic Day is crucial as it commemorates the adoption of the Indian Constitution, marking the country's transition to a republic. It instills a sense of patriotism, unity, and pride in our democratic values, reminding us of our responsibilities as citizens to uphold and protect these principles.

On January 26, 2024, the Republic Day celebrations at our college started at 8:30 AM with teachers and students gathering on campus. The chief guest, Mr. Aneesh, an assistant professor and a true patriot, graced the occasion. The program began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem, saluting, and paying respect to the flag.

Afterward, we sang "Vande Mataram," and listened to inspiring messages from our principal and the chief guest. As a student representative, I had the honor of delivering a Republic Day message, which I did with great enthusiasm. The event concluded with the distribution of laddus, taking photos, and everyone dispersing with a renewed sense of patriotism and pride.

INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIM @ MTTC

An International Colloquium on "Unconventional Computing"  was held at Mar Theophilus Training College in Nalanchira, on January 24, 2024. The speakers at the colloquium were Dr. Tomasz Mazur, Prof. Konrad Szacilowski, and Dr. Vijayakumar Chakkooth.

My understanding......

Unconventional Computing: Rethinking Computation

Forget the ones and zeros, unconventional computing explores new ways to crunch numbers. From harnessing the strangeness of quantum mechanics to mimicking the brain, this field seeks to solve problems beyond the reach of today's computers and unlock faster, more efficient ways to process information. With potential applications from drug discovery to artificial intelligence, unconventional computing is pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

It was truly a thought provoking experience. Thank you organizers and MTTC...
