"Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality."
As part of IZEL 2K23, we hosted the most thrilling event of the fest, Dress and Roll, which quickly became the highlight of the week. Contestants dressed up as fictional characters from famous movies or books and performed in character for one or two minutes, bringing their chosen roles to life.
English students took this challenge head-on, with each of us embodying iconic characters from English literature. I took on the role of Maleficent, and the response was fantastic—everyone loved my costume and get-up!
The competition was fierce, but in the end, the winner was Betcy Bose from the Physical Science Department, who gave an outstanding performance as Kunjikoonan. Dress and Roll was a spectacular showcase of creativity and passion, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
