Day-1
December 12th, 2022
This was our first day of the school induction programme at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. We, the 10 students of five optionals from Mar Theophilus Training College were all ready both physically and mentally for the induction. This was out first step as a teachers, hence we all were very excited and little bit anxious.
As per the academic calendar of the school, The school timing was from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM. In order to maintain order and punctuality , we reached the school as soon as possible at 8:00 AM. We reported together at the Principals office at 8:05 AM.
I was the leader of the team and I handed over the letter from the school as well as the attendance sheet to the Principal. School prayer followed and after principal's announcement, we entered his cabin and introduced ourselves. Dr. James T. Joseph, the principal welcomed us whole heartedly and asked about our whereabouts. We marked our attendance and sir offered best wishes. The teacher in charge of our induction programme was Mrs. Terisa Joseph, the Vice Principal of the school. She allotted us a general hall where we could settle in and assigned our duties.
As the Christmas exams were going on, we couldn't get any class to teach or monitor, but we were given invigilation duty which started at 9:45 AM and ended at 11:45 AM.
After the exam, with the permission of the school authorities, we got a chance to take photos of the school and its premises. We keenly observed the infrastructure and facilities of the school and
noted down our observations.
First day was in itself an icebreaking session which boosted up our morale and courage to look forward the upcoming days of school induction
